2008

January: Arctic Adventure Troop 7 participated in the 2008 Arctic Adventure program in Northern Wisconsin. Scouts went cross country skiing, dug shelters out of snow and made their own snow shoes.	January: Klondike Derby Troop 7 was there for the 2008 Klondike Derby. Troop 7 ran the "Dead Horse Drag" event as part of this year's Wild West theme.

February: Camp Markuson

Sledding and playing board games was the focus of Troop 7's February cabin campout.
The scouts took the "Arctic Hike of Happiness" that led to a huge rock quarry.

March: Crossover at Needham Woods Troop 7 welcomed new scouts to the Troop at the March Crossover campout.	March: Shawnee National Forest Troop 7 participated in a backpacking shakedown trip in the Shawnee National Forest.	March: Biking the I & M Canal Troop 7 took a 25 mile bike trip at the I & M Canal as part of the Cycling Merit Badge.

Troop 7 planted trees as part of the Forestry Merit Badge.

2007

February: Climbing

Troop 7's day trip to Vertical Endeavors in Warrenville, IL
for the Climbing merit badge.

March: Junior Leader Training Troop 7 held Junior Leader Training to help the scouts learn about taking on leadership roles within the Troop.	March: Shawnee National Forest Troop 7 participated in the annual spring break backpackers shakedown trip.

April: Starved Rock State Park Troop 7's April camping trip was focused on hiking!	April: Backpacking at Forest Glen Troop 7 participated in a High Adventure backpacking trip to Forest Glen, Illinois

June: Devil's Lake

Troop 7's camping trip to Devil's Lake, Wisconsin
where the scouts were able to do some real rock climbing!

July: Summer Camp Troop 7's Summer Camp at Napowan Adventure Base in Wild Rose, Wisconsin	July: Boundary Waters Troop 7's High Adventure canoe trip to the Boundary Waters of Minessota
